World Championship Hoop Dance Competition

See the Top First Nations Hoop Dancers Compete

Head to the Heard Museum to see the top American Indian and Canadian First Nations hoop dancers compete for the prestigious World Champion title and cash prizes. Dancers are judged on five different skills—precision, timing/rhythm, showmanship, creativity, and speed—with contestants competing in one of five divisions, from Tiny Tots to Senior.
