At the time you check in to The Scottsdale Plaza Resort & Villas, we do require presentation of valid government-issued identification of the person whose name is on the reservation, along with a valid credit/debit card matching your ID. You must be 18 to check in. Please be sure to add all room occupant names to the reservation to allow each of you full access to the accommodations.
Our daily Resort Fee of $30 is added to all reservations and includes: parking, fitness center and classes, in-room refrigerator, in-room coffee, in-room safe, local and toll-free calls, business center access and printing, and WiFi access.

A daily hold of $60 per day is held for incidentals. If made with a credit card, this deposit should be released within 3 to 5 days of your departure. If made with a debit card, it could take as long as 30 days for the deposit to be returned. Please inquire with your bank.
All lost items are logged and stored by our Security Department. To inquire if you have left an item with us, you may call 480-702-3278 and ask to be transferred to Security.
Parking is included in our daily Resort Fee.
The Main Pool Upper, Lower, Villa, Courtyard, and Casita Pools are available for guest use between 7AM and 11PM daily. Guests with accommodations in the Casitas have exclusive access to enjoy the privacy of the Casita Pool.
Guests may ship up to 15 packages without incurring handling charges. It is important that you have your name—and the group you are with, if applicable—on the shipping slip. All letters and packages are logged and stored until your arrival. The Front Desk will have a record of your incoming packages, and they can be delivered 24 hours a day.
The Scottsdale Plaza Resort & Villas has a 48-hour change/cancellation policy on any standard reservations, and non-refundable reservations are non-editable.
Yes, we allow pets. Each guest room may have a pet that does not exceed 50 pounds. The guest will be required to pay a $75 non-refundable pet cleaning fee per room.
The Grande Ballroom can host up to 660 for a seated reception.
All of our couples are provided a Bridal Party Preparation Suite, often a suite that opens right up to The Plaza Lawn. Some couples choose to reserve space in our Casitas for more space.
We have many couples who travel to sunny Scottsdale to say I do! Our team is happy to help out-of-area couples.
Most of our weddings feature award-winning catering from our executive chefs on property. Some exceptions are made particularly for special dietary or cultural requests.
We can host up to 300 in The Plaza Lawn for the ceremony of your dreams. The Grande Ballroom is suitable for receptions of up to 660 and our private venue Camelback Vista can host up to 180.
Yes, The Plaza Lawn is an intimate garden ceremony space with wrought-iron gates and year-round artificial grass. It can seat up to 300 for ceremonies.
Cypress Court, Terraza and the patios of Camelback Vista all are perfect for couples looking for an outside reception space.
Cypress Court is our open-air courtyard and is perfect for meals, networking receptions, and a variety of events. It includes bistro-style lighting to set the scene for evening events. Terraza, our tented pavilion, includes a built-in stage that pairs perfectly with audio-visual presentations. The newly updated patio makes for a memorable indoor/outdoor experience.
While some special events contract vendors such as food trucks, most catering on property is provided by our Resort Team. Any special requests for outside catering can be discussed with our events team.
No, we do not require sleeping rooms with meetings hosted on property.
Our meeting rooms such as Grande Ballroom and Cypress Court can accommodate reception-style events of up to 1,200. The average overall group size of most meetings on property is 300.
Our audio-visual team is on property and here to make your meeting memorable. Audio-visual needs are contracted separately from the meeting spaces.
Yes, we have two boardrooms on property: La Vinca for groups up to 20, and the Camelback Vista Boardroom for groups up to 24.
All reserved services at our Scottsdale spa must be guaranteed with a valid credit card or guest room confirmation number. A minimum 4-hour notice must be given to cancel or amend any reserved appointment. If less notice is given, 50% of the full treatment price will be charged. Spa packages, private parties, and cabana rentals require a 48-hour cancellation/adjustment notice. Missed appointments without proper notice are subject to the full treatment price.
Spa menu pricing does not include gratuity. Spa services, food and beverages are subject to a 20% service charge at checkout, which is a gratuity to be paid directly to the service provider and is modifiable.
If under the age of 18 years old, a parent must be present at our Scottsdale spa. The Salon is appropriate for guests 12 years and older, while the Spa is appropriate for guests 16 years and older. Failure to notify Reception of age leading to decline of service will result in full charge.
If you are coming to our Scottsdale spa for an appointment, you have day use access to our swimming pools and sauna, as well as the Fitness Center. You do not have to be an overnight guest of The Scottsdale Plaza Resort & Villas to access these areas.

To better serve you, we are open 7 days a week: Sunday to Thursday, 9AM–6PM; and Friday & Saturday, 9AM–7PM. However, hours may vary depending on season and occupancy.
Please check in at the Spa Reception Desk at least 15 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment. Late arrivals will only receive the remainder of their booked service time to allow services to begin on time for all Salon & Spa guests.
