The Scottsdale Plaza Resort & Villas is proud to announce we have remained open as an essential business through this trying time, as we have a duty to continue to serve our guests and provide employment to our team. We have continually lived up to our core values, while closely monitoring CDC guidelines and government policy changes in an effort to confidently operate our business.
Resort Safety, Protocols & More
As COVID-19 has impacted the world’s needs for health and sanitation standards, Scottsdale Plaza has made the following changes to its physical property, employee communication and training, guest communication, property, and room preparedness in our commitment to provide accommodations in accordance with CDC guidelines and recommendations.
Enhanced CleaningEPA-approved cleaning products are used to sanitize and disinfect our rooms.
High-touch SurfacesWe have increased the frequency of cleaning public spaces and high-touch surfaces.
Hand SanitizerHand-sanitizer dispensers can be found at key entrances throughout the resort.
Team TrainingWe offer comprehensive team training on safety and sanitation protocols.
Personal Protective EquipmentWe use personal protective equipment on property when appropriate.
Physical Distancing
With over 40 acres of lush gardens and courtyards and some of Scottsdale’s most spacious rooms and suites, you are guaranteed to feel right at home. Our five heated pools throughout the resort offer plenty of space to spread out.
Guest Rooms
Our accommodations feature extra sanitizing wipes, individual air conditioning units to provide clean fresh air, and accessibility via an exterior front door from open-air corridors to minimize touch points. Emphasis is added to touch points during the cleaning process.
Housekeeping Services
With the health and safety of our Scottsdale Plaza guests and employees in mind, we allow guests to opt out of daily housekeeping services to limit the amount of interactions between guests and staff.
Cleaning Products and Procedures
All Fitness Center equipment should be cleaned and sanitized after each guest use; supplies are provided.
All shared equipment and meeting amenities are sanitized before and after each use. Meeting venues have social distancing options, as well as outdoor spaces.
Seating capacities and floor plans are reviewed on an event-by-event basis to ensure appropriate physical distancing.
